You know how people say Jesus is everywhere?

He really is.

But we aren’t.

Most of the time. This is one of those situations where you can be in a place you might not be physically. But you can be there in spirit and in mission. In the last week, Hurricane Harvey has decimated parts of Texas and Louisiana. The United Methodist Church, through UMCOR, act quickly and stay the longest in disaster relief. One of their main projects is Flood Buckets. Each bucket is full of specific supplies that have been identified as crucial in a disaster. Our supply of flood buckets is terrifying low currently and we need thousands more to aid in relief.

Foundry is working alongside of UMCOR and many other churches providing relief and support through to victims of Harvey. And no matter where you are, you can help us support this project. We’ve built an Amazon list you can purchase supplies off of and have them shipped directly to us for packing, mobilization, and delivery. It’s as easy as ordering your favorite book or other items off amazon. We will take care of the packing and getting them to folks as quickly as possible.

UMCOR Flood Bucket List
